Moogambigai College of Nursing boasts a well-equipped centralized library that serves as a hub for academic resources, stocked with approximately 1000 to 1500 books across various nursing disciplines. The library offers students access to a wide range of resources, including a card index system for easy navigation, along with facilities such as email, internet, and CD-ROM browsing for enhanced learning. Additionally, students can utilize photocopying services, while the library provides dedicated spaces for quiet reading and group discussions. The library operates from 9 AM to 9 PM, ensuring ample access for students throughout the day. Apart from the centralized library, the college also provides departmental libraries for clinical and pre-clinical departments, each stocked with relevant and standard materials to support students in their specific areas of study. Medical journals, as well as information stored on CDs and DVDs, are also available to help students stay updated with the latest research and developments in nursing and healthcare.

The Central Library stocks more than 10,000 books of various subjects in medical and allied health sciences. Reputed journals ,both Indian and International are available in departmental libraries. The total number of books in the central and departmental library runs over 10,000 titles.

  • Online Databases: Subscription-based resources like Pub Med, CINAHL, and Cochrane Library, which provide access to peer-reviewed journals and research articles.
  • E-Journals: Access to various nursing and medical journals available electronically.
  • Multimedia: Educational videos, simulations, and audio materials that help with practical learning.
