As part of the Nurses Week Celebration in observance of International Nurses Day, Moogambigai College of Nursing successfully organized a Debate Competition on 15-05-2026.

The debate was conducted on the thought-provoking topic, “Artificial Intelligence Can Never Replace Human Nurses”, encouraging students to critically analyze the evolving role of technology in healthcare and the irreplaceable value of human compassion in nursing practice.

The competition witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from students, who confidently expressed their perspectives with strong arguments, critical thinking, and professional insight. The programme highlighted the importance of communication, ethical reasoning, and the human touch in nursing care.
