Students of our college participated in the International Guest Lecture and Workshop on Blood Pressure organized by the Department of Physiology, RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital (RRMCH), Bengaluru, on 12th and 13th May 2026. The workshop, titled “Precision in Practice: Accurate Blood Pressure Measurement for Clinical Excellence,” was conducted as part of World Hypertension Week 2026. Demonstrating outstanding academic excellence, our students secured all three prizes in both the pre-test and post-test assessments conducted during the programme.

The event featured distinguished international speakers, Dr. Noriko Matsushita (Global Medical Affairs, Japan) and Mr. Hiroshi Ogawa (Managing Director, Omron Healthcare India), and benefited over 900 students from various healthcare disciplines through expert lectures and hands-on clinical training.

The workshop enhanced participants’ knowledge and practical skills in accurate blood pressure measurement, hypertension prevention, early diagnosis, and evidence-based cardiovascular care while providing valuable international academic exposure.
