Moogambigai College of Nursing (MCON), Bengaluru, observed National Cancer Awareness Day 2025 on November 11, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Lecture Hall–1.

The session was organized under the theme “United by Unique!”, aimed at promoting awareness about cancer prevention, early detection, and the importance of timely treatment.

The event featured Dr. Rajeev N, MS, DNB (Surgical Oncology), Professor of Surgical Oncology, RajaRajeswari Medical College, as the Guest Speaker. Dr. Rajeev delivered an insightful and interactive session, shedding light on the causes, preventive measures, and treatment approaches related to cancer.

The programme witnessed active participation from B.Sc. Nursing 1st and 2nd semester students, who showed great enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the session.

Overall, the event proved to be an enriching and motivational experience, inspiring students to take an active role in spreading cancer awareness and preventive health practices within their communities.
