Moogambigai College of Nursing celebrated Global Handwashing Day 2025 on October 15 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Rajarajeshwari Super & Multi-Speciality Hospital, Bengaluru. The event was held under the theme “Be a Handwashing Hero!” to promote the importance of hand hygiene in disease prevention and public health.

The programme commenced with an address on the significance of the day, highlighting the global message of maintaining hand hygiene. This was followed by captivating performances including a mime and a dance that creatively conveyed the importance of proper handwashing.

B.Sc. Nursing 2nd semester students actively participated in the event, demonstrating correct handwashing steps and techniques to the hospital visitors and staff, creating awareness and inspiring everyone to adopt healthy hygiene practices in daily life.
