Moogambigai College of Nursing organized a one-day workshop on “First Aid Emergencies & Its Management” on 17th December 2025 at the Skill Lab, RRMCH, in collaboration with the Department of Emergency Medicine, RRMCH.

The workshop aimed to strengthen students’ knowledge and skills in the immediate management of medical and trauma emergencies. Topics covered included basic principles of first aid, poisoning, bites and stings, unconsciousness, respiratory emergencies, CPR, AED, wounds, hemorrhage, shock, burns, musculoskeletal injuries, community emergencies, and transportation of injured persons.

B.Sc. Nursing 1st semester students actively participated in demonstrations and hands-on skill stations, gaining practical exposure and confidence in emergency care. The programme concluded successfully with positive feedback from the participants.
